The Galileo Enrichment Learning Program is an enrichment program which started as an advocacy to promote world-class education in the country. It was created by an academic pool of advisers who worked together and envisioned a nation proficient in Math and English skills. The program aims to improve the students’ academic aptitude by cultivating mastery of both subjects and developing a genuine love for learning. Each student enrolled in the program goes through a series of fun activities that are in line with a curriculum designed for each child. The program uses the “Telescopic Approach,” wherein each child is assessed according to his abilities. 
From results of his assessment, he is given exercises that will allow him to grow and to master the concepts presented to him. The program not only focuses on the concepts, but also shows him how these can be applied to real-life situations. Galileo believes that the real test in learning is in how the student is able to carry out what he has learned in the classroom to practical events beyond the classroom doors. The child enjoys different materials, such as manipulatives, flash cards, and computer games that will tap into his interests and will make learning fun and meaningful.
Galileo is an open-ended Math and English program, which means that parents can enroll their children any time during the year. The program is individualized and follows each student’s progress based on his own pace. C hildren aged three (3) to twelve (12) are welcome to become part of the Galileo All-Star Team by being a Galileo student. The tuition fee is PhP 1,860.00 per subject per month. For new enrollees, there is a one-time registration fee of PhP 500.00 which includes a starter kit and a Galileo bag.

- Please be informed that Galileo - Pasong Tamo, Makati will be closed on Dec. 24, 30 and 31. Kindly contact our teachers if you plan to be absent for the holidays to arrange center schedule. Students will be given enough worksheets to accomplish at home daily during the holidays. These worksheets should be submitted when classes resume on January 2, 2012 or on your next Galileo center visit. Answering the worksheets on the assigned day is very important for their continuous success in the Galileo Enrichment Learning Program.
- Classes up to high school in Metro Manila were suspended due to tropical storm Juaning, the DepEd said. 20 domestic flights were also cancelled.

- MANILA, Philippines - PNCC Foundation will mount the culminating presentation of its summer workshops on June 5, 10 a.m., at the Philippine National Construction Corporation (PNCC) Training Room, PNCC Compound, Reliance St., Mandaluyong.
The event will start with a presentation by the Galileo Enrichment Program participants. Known for its kid-friendly approach to knowledge, Galileo focuses on the child’s individual learning needs. The summer workshop organized by PNCC combined the different activities under the Math and English program.
The Math class is designed to equip students
with the fundamental skills in understanding math by showing its benefits in everyday life. While the English class is composed of exercises that focus on creativity and analytical skills that can help students effectively express themselves through writing.

- The Galileo Enrichment Learning Program is bringing you a two-day workshop for parents and their grade school children (grades 2 to 5) on Singapore Math entitled, “Unlocking the Secrets to Singapore Math.” This workshop aims to educate the participants with solving strategies used by the Singaporeans.
The workshop will be held on May 2...8 and 29, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Powerbooks, Greenbelt 4. The workshop will be conducted by a mother-and-son tandem, Dr. Queena Lee-Chua and Scott Chua, who are both advocates of the Singapore Math. Scott’s school has adapted the technique for years and Scott is a testimony that Singapore Math helped him understand Math better.
